Stinkin Crawfish Key West

From the moment we arrived at The Stinking Crawfish in Key West, we knew we were in for a treat. The vibrant atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of fresh seafood immediately set the stage for a memorable dining experience. Our anticipation was certainly rewarded when our seafood platter arrived – a veritable feast of oceanic delights! The king crab legs were, in a word, phenomenal. The succulent meat was sweet, tender, and pulled away from the shell with satisfying ease. Each bite was a burst of pure, briny flavor that truly showcased the quality of the seafood. Similarly, the lobster was cooked to absolute perfection. The delicate sweetness of the meat was enhanced by its impeccable texture, making it another standout on the platter. It's safe to say that both the king crab and the lobster were highlights that we'll be dreaming about until our next visit. While the exceptional seafood was undoubtedly the star of the show, the overall Key West charm was also in full effect. Yes, as is often the case in this lively locale, we did encounter a few rather bold lizards. While their presence might be a minor quirk for some, it’s truly just part of the unique Key West ambiance and certainly didn't detract from our enjoyment of the meal. We also decided to try the jalapeno poppers with crab filling, and they certainly lived up to their name! The creamy, flavorful crab filling provided a delightful contrast to the fiery kick of the jalapeno. Now, while it might seem obvious to some that jalapeno poppers would have a bit of heat, I was genuinely surprised by the intensity! Consider this a delightful heads-up for anyone who might be expecting a milder experience – these poppers pack a delicious punch! Overall, our experience at The Stinking Crawfish was truly excellent. The quality of the seafood, particularly the outstanding king crab and lobster, was truly memorable. The lively Key West atmosphere, complete with its characteristic wildlife, added to the unique charm. And even the unexpectedly spicy jalapeno poppers left a lasting (and delicious) impression. We absolutely cannot wait to return to The Stinking Crawfish on our next trip to Key West. It's a must-visit for any seafood lover!

I was drawn in by the musicians Aaron & Rogue. It was happy hour, so I started with the hush puppies. They were delicious. Some of the restaurants here have hush puppies, but they’re basically Conch Fritters without the Conch. This place has it right. A great cornbread recipe and not doughy. I got the gumbo for dinner and let me just say that my stomach is growling right now thinking about it. Next, breakfast.

Absolutely nothing stinking about this restaurant! Everything is exceptionally good especially the Cajun cooking, service and entertainment. My wife and I spent 3.5 hours recently enjoying good food and music by Dallas Doctor! Dallas took us through a journey of my youth playing the Beatles, Peter Frampton and other rock groups from the 70's and 80's using seven guitars. Traffic stops on Duval, windows roll down and people get out of their cars to listen to this talented musician. He packs this out door restaurant up, so get there at 11:30am if you want to enjoy a 3.5 hour show with no breaks. This was the best entertainment and most fun of our trip!

Great seafood restaurant with very tasty food and reasonable prices. Calamari and house sauce was the best. My daughter loved the calamari so much that we ordered it for her as main dish. 12-6 is happy hour...

When we first walked in there was almost no one but few seconds later people started to rush in. The Atmosphere was AMAZING and the food was even more. My family and I ordered the Lobster roll, wings, oysters, and the family seafood plate. Let me started one by one, the lobster roll was all nice and fully covered in delicious butter and the fries were as crispy as chips, the oyster were also looking and tasting very good and it was a Happy hour too so the oysters and wing were a dollar a piece so we ordered them, the wings were even more juicier and it had delicious flavor exploding in my mouth. The last one is the seafood combo, In my opinion I don’t really like seafood but this made me in love with it forever and this restaurant made me actually love seafood.The service was amazing 10/10. :D

We ate brunch here with a group of 8. Our server was able to break up the checks for each couple. Everyone had something different, and everyone totally enjoyed what they ordered. My wife said her crab Benedict was the best she's ever had. The gumbo was nice and spicy, my Shrimp and Grits were great, except the tails were still on the shrimp, which made it messy to try and take them off.

Happy hour starts early here...11:30 a.m....1 oysters, wings and drink specials. Oh...the entertainment is phenomenal! Many thanks to guitarist/singer extraordinaire Dallas, who keeps those 60's and 70's hits coming for almost 4 hours! This place feels like Cheers, because it's like being welcomed home each time we go there! :) Best in Key West for afternoon fun!

Ok. They hit a homerun on the food! We had a very large seafood platter with king crab, lobster , shrimp, and all the fixins! It was served hot & delicious the crab filled jalepeno were also good but be prepared the were spicy hot!! The only one weird thing was that there was an excessive amount of caterpillar, and one fell on me during our meal! Overall, 5 star seafood !
